A lovely, welcoming studio.  I have been coming for about a year and am amazed at how much better I feel in a relatively short period of time. Shiva Yoga is a gem in Des Moines.  The owner is wonderful, and the community amongst the yogis is amazing.  It may seem cliché, but yoga has changed my life and improved health tremendously.

Amazing place!!! When my bootcamp studio closed due to COVID, a  friend of mine recommended Shiva Yoga studio to me. From the time I set foot in the studio, I knew I had found a gem, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a great community. Liz and her sweat masters/instructors in sweat offer challenging classes. The various  options enable you to pick and choose what feels best for you on that particular day. There is no comparison, no judging, just pure camaraderie. They offer sound bath mediations, hikes during the summer, etc. It reminds me of the series Cheers (for those of us who remember) where everybody knows your name they are glad you came...thank you, Liz and your team, for providing a little peace of Heaven...forever grateful!

The studio is adorable and inviting. The teacher and other participants were lovely and welcoming. The class I took was great, gentle, but still had tons of options to make it as challenging as an individual would like it. The equipment was well organized, clean and available for all. I'm looking forward to trying out all of the different classes offered. I also loved the shorter session at noon, as a work from home person this made it very convenient!

I went to the last 3 classes - mini vin x2 and barre - I was on vacay and mini vin was the perfect one to come back to - lots of stretching which got me ready for a very fun barre with an Olympic vibe 🇺🇸🗽🥇

Lobby is very bright and welcoming. Studio is spacious and has a relaxing vibe. I am new to yoga and took a class with Ashley. She went at just the right pace, gently correcting my form when I needed it. The time flew by. I came out of the class feeling great physically and mentally. Shiva Yoga is a gem of a studio!

Such a warm and welcoming studio in a convenient downtown Des Moines location. Liz, owner and one of the instructors, is wonderful. I hadn't done a hot class in almost 15 years and was made to feel right at home anyway.
