Demi’s classes combine fluid movement and strength training to create a well-rounded, full-body exercise. She is dedicated to choreographing sequences that challenge both the body and mind while incorporating seamless transitions in an upbeat and positive atmosphere. Her goal is to help her students build body awareness and strength in a class that empowers them.
Demi takes a lighthearted approach to barre, allowing students space to explore, space to feel silly, and space to adjust the difficulty level as they see fit for the day. She draws inspiration from the array of outdoor activities the PNW has to offer and appreciates how barre and yoga practices perfectly complement her sense of adventure.
In addition to barre, Demi also earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2016 and has taught yoga at various studios, as well as in Baltimore City public schools, offering classes for both students and teachers. Previously, she founded ‘Feed Your Mind,’ a yoga and mindful eating experience that combined her passions for yoga and plant-based cooking.
